Thank you Barbara,  I totally agree.  He was not agressive and it may be
that he caught this girl just right in a playful leap as he is known to do
and a behavior we have worked long and hard to curb, but I just cannot
chance it.  We are even wondering if it may have been with the paw and not
the teeth-- as it happened so fast and he was not angry or agressive seconds
later.  But again, he is a mix, and was abused in his early weeks, and I am
not about to take any chances.
