Hi Judith,

    I live in south Alabama about 30 minutes from Gulf Shores.  Sorry about
that.
    We take our Pyr each week for a bath and grooming.  We take him to the
same vet that we use for everything else.  He and his staff are all
wonderful with all of the animals.
    We used to do the bathing here until Bear got so large.  And just think,
he's no where near as big as his dad (120+).  We live in a home that was
built in 1910 and have only one bath room.  It's 15' long and only 5' wide.
Not enough room to turn around in there!!!
    Bear looks forward to going to see David, Judy, Lynn and the rest of the
folks.  He even has his own toy bag down there.  They are truly wonderful.
    As for the one's that charge by the pound, I just don't see how that can
be right.  I know people who have told me "they" know people who do that
too.  I just can't see someone charging $100 to bathe a dog that weighs 100
lbs. just because he weighs 100 lbs.  It's just plain wrong.
