Thanks Barb.  She was a rescue who came to us with her sister at age 6.
(Folks, older dogs need to be rescued too!! )  Her sister died just 2-3
years after she arrived here, Splash lived to 12 11/12 years old--didn't
quite make 13.  She was the matriarch over all the Pyrs, past and present.
(she was an Old English Sheepdog)
