Re: [pyrnet] Gulliver

Well Gulliver has managed some weight gain since he has been here. Still
tall and lean, at least he doesn't look quite so much like we found him
in a concentration camp.

Other than the relationship with Polar Bear, one of our females, he is
doing fine with the group. Polar Bear will play with him nicely, just
not when anyone is around ( she thinks).

Yesterday he learned what the bed was for ( I had hoped he might not have
gotten into that ), and as I write he is on it with the other Pyrs. (
including Po-Bear ), and has his head propped up on Ranger's rear end.
He was actually rather funny getting on it yesterday ( water bed ) and
watching his face as the bed moved all over under him. But today he
seemed to get the idea to get on, and settle fast! So all in all, he is
turning out to be a nice addition to the family. He is not a barker, so
I hate thinking of them turning him "to the dark side". And he listens
to me very well for most voice commands. Exceptions being, he ignores
the house lines lessons, like don't go beyond the dining room. And since
he roamed free for so long, he must be on a leash constantly ( at least
till we get better fencing for the whole yard ). We always watch the
others when they are out, but he really looks for a way to wander.

All in all, the big boy is a real sweet heart, and is coming right along!
