Lisa, I hope others will have suggestions to help, but I can say that in
my experience this is really *un*characteristic of a pyr. Even our two
adults who had not been house dogs before we got them learned very quickly
to go to the door, and Paddington was reliably house trained within a week
(he was 8 weeks when we got him). It does sound as if the problem is with
separation anxiety--I know others on the list have talked about this
before, so hope you get some help!
