Bridget, I agree with you.  I have always had a real tough time pandering
to other peoples fear of dogs.  I think it is their responsibility to get
help for their irrational fears.  And it is their problem, not the poor
dogs!  I've gotten worse with age too, as I feel less of a need to deal
with people like that.  I had a sister-in-law tell me one time after we
moved all the animal family across country 
( including the horses )that I should " just sell them, you can get
animals anywhere!"    After I got done telling her what I thought, I have
hardly had anything to do with them since!  No loss really!  Cindy
