Hi, all....justed was reading about your elderly kitties, and wanted to 
share that I have an prettyt baby that is 17.  She is a domestic 
shorthair.....all white with big yellow tabby spots on her, hence her name 
is Penny.  She looks like she has great big pennies on her back.  She is 
also rather fat and huggable and sweet.  The more people that are around the 
louder she purrs.  I have done very little in the way of "keeping" her this 
old.  Seems like she just has such a big heart, and hasn't shared enough 
yet. She loves to sit outside in the sun on the patio, but otherwise her 
favorite spot is resting her head on my pillow until I go to bed, then she 
likes the foot of the bed.  Anyway, was nice to hear your story.  I will be 
VERY sad when Penny decides it is her time to go,as I have had her since I
