Alison, they often require a little getting used to for the dog, but they
are actually a nice way of handling the fur kid.  You will get questions
from people, but it is a good way to educate the public.  I use slip (
choke, although I don't like  the was people abuse that term ) collars on
all of mine.  I do think the halti type collars are a good thing though!
