Interestingly enough that may be the truth.  These people may not be in
denial.  they may honestly not know.  Especially if this is something other
than chondroplasia.  I generally agree that breeders are really prone to
being both closed mouth and deceptive.  But not always.  Some statements of
"I've never had that in my dogs" or "I've never had that before" are true.
