Caren, I wouldn't worry about it.  As Kerry said, bitches do blow their
coats after whelping.  As far as the upper leg hair, that's a common
location.  My whole group are starting to shed out heavy once again, and
that is a prime area.  Texas weather is hard on dogs with this type of
coat since winter is never clearly defined here.  They show less coat
than a northern Pyr. at best, and their shedding starts earlier and seems
to last longer.

As long as she has no big hot spots or , bare to the skin areas, I would
just assume it was a normal coat blow.
Lots of brushing for a while, and if your inclined a good bath with a
soak in some warm water, will help speed the process up.  Make sure she
is not matted before you bathe her or soak her though!
