Re: [pyrnet] Help, losing hair!

Thanks so much to everyone who replied! Boy do I feel dumb. I have
always had only spayed pound dogs before, and we sort of fell in love
with this one before we really felt around and found uh oh, this girl
has had puppies recently! She is my first pyrennees. Too bad she'll
lose her fur; she is very skinny under there, and she also cowers when
people approach her. People will be going tsk! tsk! at me, being sure
I abuse her. Previous owners apparently got a few females that they
intended to breed with their one male eventually. They put them all in
together and left them alone. What do you think happen to all the girls?
Well, then they decided the girls barked and escaped too much, so they
took them to the humane society. Although I might make her sound like
a basket case, she is actually adjusting pretty well. Thanks for the
help, it will save the vet laughing at me. :-)

Don't worry, this is normal. Just keep brushing, and brushing and...Today it is the rear legs, with the rest of the body soon to follow. <sigh>
