Lisa, I'm green with envy--a pyr puppy!! 
I think your ideas re introducing your puppy to the cats sound fine. There
will probably be no problems at all. The puppy may even be accustomed to
being around cats. But it's a good idea to have some barriers in place
until you see how all respond to each other. The cats will probably put
the pup in place fast!
