Darrell if I understand your comment, If one does not fuel the demand for
pets who will adopt all the rescues from the working breeders that we
inherit?  I agree it was worker oriented, but our dogs are working dogs.  
Certainly many of the dogs where not phenotypically good examples of the
breed.  I wondered if they were simply working from the working breeders and
not anyone else?  IMHO, the breed is in danger of being controlled in the
publics mind by this ever increasing segment of the fancy and that will not
bode well for the breed at all.  I guess as long as we are happy with our
800+  GPCA members and not particularly concerned that the large groups like
the American Goat Dairy Folks advise their members against us as breeders for
their working situations, we are almost inviting this to occur.
