We went through the summer surely hoping that would be the case with Tori,
Barb! She came to us with an incredible Canadian puppy coat, which she
blew in June. For a while, she was almost naked around her middle, but
still had a heavy ruff and lots of fur on her shoulders and butt--people
called her "poodle." Then it all went except the "bustle" on her butt.
That finally disappeared at the end of August. We realized why people said
you either finish a champion before they're a year old or you wait! Now
she's finally growing in what looks as if it will be a gorgeous coat;
meantime, Ivy is just beginning to lose hers, as the weather turns frigid
here in New England. Go figure!
