Re: [pyrnet] Chat: Dusty didn't graduate <sigh>

What, Mom? Never heard *that* command before! You want me to WHAT?!
Oh, Pam, aint they a pain sometimes? And what can you do but laugh?
Nothing to do with those adolescents but keep on training.

We just finished our first 5-week class with Tori, and are making slow but
marked progress in dealing with her shyness. By the end of the class she
was letting most of the people come up and pet her. She wasn't crazy about
it, but at least she'd stopped trembling and could sit and almost relax
for a few minutes at a time of "stranger interaction." And she even laid
down on my feet a couple of times when there wasn't enough action--a sure
sign that she was relaxing in a different environment. She's also started
to get playful occasionally when we're out in the arboretum--like
splashing through mud puddles! These shy ones are a challenge, but
wouldn't trade her or Ivy for anything--they're also the most loving pyrs
we've ever had.
Ann, Peg, Ivy Rose (they're going to make me go through the next class
too) and Tori.
