Thanks all for the advice. I will throw them my husband's way and we will contemplate. I have not been adverse to getting an older rescue dog either, but again, I would not want to bring any new animal (no matter what age) into my household without having any "quality time" to bond. I would want to wait until summertime to get either a puppy or an adult rescue. Thanks again!
