If he was that poorly when you got him, is it possible that due to lack of
food etc his digestive system was somehow damaged?  I know that dogs when
starved can sometimes get to a point where no amount of food may correct the
damage done to vital organs.  Hopefully and presumably you have got him in
time that this is not the case.  Perhaps however, something like a digestive
enzyme will help his system to function normally?  You can get a good one
from www.b-naturals.com .  If you email Lew directly, she may be able to
provide some more ideas too.  Please keep us updated on his progress.
