When we installed our 4 ft chain link fence, I put railroad ties around the
perimeter to keep Josie from digging under it.  She has never tried to go
over or under the fence.   She has however, learned how to open the gates.
Be sure to secure them.  I use a rubber tie strap on the driveway gate and a
hook on the people gate to keep her in.
