[pyrnet] Snow and...hips?

Dirk loves snow, too. He was born in it, and probably
did too much romping, because, speaking of hip
problems...
He just turned 2 and was diagnosed with hip dysplasia
(back before he turned 1). We've been doing fairly
well keeping his weight down and his exercise to a
minimum. But lately, he's been holding one rear leg
off the ground for a few minutes after he stands up
from a nap and after playing in the yard.

Has anyone had experience with this? We decided
against the surgery last year, as he had just had both
shoulders operated on for OCD. Any advice?

Thanks,
Pip, Tanna and Dirk
