Re: [pyrnet] Food issues

I have to admit that I don't feed puppy food at all any more. I have mostly
border collies and the performance people and vets that I know feel that the
growth is slower and more regulated on regular food and helps limit problems
with rapid growth.

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one that has trouble getting their
Great Pyr to eat at times. They are so cheerfully willful. They just look at
you and seem to say, "Nope!", with a big doggie grin on their faces. Mine
mostly go off their food in the summer when it's so hot. I'm a wimp, if they
miss three meals, I make them chicken and rice, or drizzle bacon grease over
their food.
