Our Maude tore one of her dew claws off when she caught it in a throw on the chair. She bled a bit and then licked for awhile.
Keep an eye on the area and make sure it does not get infected. Any sign at all of infection or swell and go to the vets!. Like any injury this will require careful monitoring. It may well heal itself, but you need to watch it and Kelly for a week or so until it heals over.
