Many Pyr Rescue Groups do not have the facilities and ability to
completely evaluate a Pyr to Livestock Guardian placement. Therefore
they place the dogs as pet/companions. They may have a history of the
dog was roaming. If a LGD roams, what good is it as a LGD? It has not
bonded with it's flock! It is not doing it's job! As to the rest of that
nonsense about if the dog can't sleep on the bed, "you" are not a good
home....that's a bunch of hogwash! None of my Pyrs sleep on the bed
and I consider myself an excellent home. :) There are REPUTABLE
Rescues, just as there are REPUTABLE Breeders!
