That means one more driver and we can get them to Denver.

I am in the Kansas City area, and count me in as being able to help
transport somehow in the midwest stretch, especially if the Kentucky Pyrs
might be heading to the Denver area...I'm pretty much right in the middle of
that route. It's about 9 hours driving time to either end. My own
car is a 4-door Honda Accord (sufficiently comfortable accommodations for my
single Big Boy Pyr) but if I get involved in this gig I might be able to
borrow the a Honda CRV from a soft-hearted friend of mine.
Has anybody sent this to the Pyr-l list yet?

Wow guys........I guess this is a bittersweet moment. It
totally sickens me that upon request, that shelter cannot give the pyrs a
little more time. That is just so sad and makes me sick in the stomach. On
the otherhand, im very touched by what Ive been seeing here on this list.
Total strangers are doing everything they can to try and help these pyrs,
driving great lengths, taking time out of their busy schedules, all for the
love of this breed. All I can say is GOD BLESS YOU from the bottom of my
heart. This is what its all about. Love for this breed.......My hats are off
to all of you, and I hope everything works out for you and these precious
dogs. Im sure God holds a special place in heaven for all of
you. YOU GO GIRL! ( or guy!) Heather in

I live in the Pittsburgh,
Pa area. I will be more than happy to help
transport.

I have to go to work now, but if a home can be found
for them, I'm willing to help transport north or west from KY a few
hundred miles. There are enough Pyr lovers (and just plain dog
lovers) that dog loving hearts should be able to get them
delivered. I'm in Southern Indiana, and I don't know
exactly where Glasgow KY is, but I'm sure I remember being through
it. Bet both those babies could be stuffed into the back of our
Jeep since they've been companions for a long time. We've
cleaned a lot of dog snot off the windows already, so again wouldn't
matter at all.
If a reasonable plan begins to take
shape while I'm working, count us in if they're going in our
direction. I'll be back about midnight EST.
