Hi Brendan and All,

Have you ever sat at nighttime, or early, early, in the morning with your beloved Pyr ~ while he/she is on guard? On Duty? And stuck you nose and face deep down in the ruff of this Loved One's neck? Smelled the fragrance and scent of your Faithful Friend? Looked into those dark eyes and felt the mystical wonder of this most magnificent of beings? 

Why, Oh Why, do they do what they do? I have NO IDEA! It's been over fifty years of dedication to these Gentle Giants and I still don't have a clue. But, are we not Blessed to have and to have had them in our lives? Perhaps, (and just perhaps) if we pay closer attention, we may learn something from these Mighty, Gentle, Wonderful Pyrs. I believe they have a heck of a lot to teach us, these, the "lesser" humans.
