I have found the problem area - it is red and sore and stinky! So my beautifully coated pup is now shaved under his throat and down his neck - sigh! My real problem is what to put on him as a collar - I would love to leave his collar off - but he 'frequently' goes for great adventures. He has been wearing an 1 wide bright green collar with his name and phone number plus a tag with home and cell numbers. What types of collars do others use? Has anyone else had this stinky problem - anyone use anything topical for it - I"m hoping that getting air to it will solve the problem and maybe some athlete foot cream if it turns out to be a fungus. Living in the country and having lots of critters, I have to try to figure this out before running to the vet. It's going to be warm and beautiful here today - hope everyone is having a great summer!
