Have a look at

for aircraft details. It only covers American models
but as the other allies used a lot of these it should
be very useful.

I can't remember the details of the flying wing but
was it not based on German prototypes - specifically
the Horten brothers designs?

Suggesting that either:
You are going to have a scenario involving the theft
of a German prototype (great idea by the way, Firefox
1944). or
You are advancing American research by a good few
years (ignoring the German windfall they received post
war).
