The new Spycraft rules for D20 by AEG have some fairly nice autofire
rules including covering fire and strafing. Strafing is pretty
simple. You expend 2 bullets into each 5 foot square and you roll an
attack against the targets with a -2 for each person beyond the first
you want to hit. The only limit is how many bullets you have and the
squares have to be adjacent although you can expend bullets to cross
empty space. Mind you, this would mean a lot of D20 rolls. :P The
Spycraft lite rules are here. www.seriesarcher.com
They are fairly nice which is shocking to anyone who has looked at
AEG's D20 material which is pretty atrocious.
