Jerome,

I understand why you are questioning this...but unless a person has a 
very good eye and a **h*ll** of alot of knowledge (would have to be from 
competition and or import experience) then the ONLY way to "educate" 
oneself on type and structure is the breed ring.  Granted you may not 
always win...and that doesn't always deem the best, but it is the BEST 
and nearly ONLY way to get a good comprehension of what is out there and 
what is correct vs what is "pretty".
