I just had to respond to the discussion on the National and Local club 
situation. In the club that I belong to it seems that its mainly given over 
to the breeder and show people with little or no thought to the pet owner or 
therapy dog owner. Also, at this years National, I felt very left out most of 
the time. Don't get me wrong everyone was nice but they didn't seem open ot 
newcomers. Even at the National I felt that the breeder and show people were 
more important than anything else. There was very little recognition of 
therapy work or LGD types. I will join the national organization in hopes of  
helping to make it better. Also, I will continue to work within my local to 
help change things around.
