Mary, this is a good point, ours really sniff everyone well ( and I know
it upsets a lot of people who don't understand dogs ), but with this
fellow, they will not leave him alone, and he gets so upset, and that is
when I started questioning  why.  After he hit Silver of course I was
furious, and really suspicious.  Your comment on the pestering brings the
point home, the dogs know!  While my daughter is not happy with me at the
moment...I'm willing to live with it.  He is not coming in my home
anymore!
