This sounds typical in our house.  David and I are really bad about having 
our tea while sitting in front of the telly.  The other night, I had found a 
lovely piece of steak, and we had it with salad and rice.  We're sitting in 
the living room, watching the evening news when I suddenly realise that the 
Pyr that was sitting on the couch with me had her nose edging toward my 
plate.  At the same time, one of our cats had come around the other side of 
me, and was trying an "attack" from the other direction!  Makes for creative 
eating in our house <VBG>.
