Getting the bitch's title might be somewhat useful, but it tells you
absolutely *nothing* about what is behind the dog. And too many judges
are political or know little or nothing about the breed. It is one
indication of breeding quality, but only one, and one that some show
people put *way* too much emphasis on.

You're far better off if you can find a mentor who knows the breed *very
well* and you trust who can tell you about the bitch's quality, and
hopefully about the pedigree that is behind her.

There is much more to a quality dog than meets the eye.
