We had the virus and contacted the technical service people at Norton and he
took me through the removal process and then I found the instructions to
completely remove the virus on the Virus reseach center on the
web type service/symantec.com.  Calling a real person cost money .  The
research center is free.  Look under the kak.worm virus.  There is a patch
from Microsft for Outlook express so you don't get the virus again it can be
downloaded from their site.
We are infected again.  We do not have the patch.  But now I know how to
remove it.
