Barb,

    Thanks!  Yep I mean the outdoors smells bad.  I don't like it and I
don't like going out there because of the way it smells.  We live in an area
where cotton is still king and there's a cotton gin right down the street
from our home.  YUK!!!!!  So it's not an odor coming from within (like when
we eat too much garlic or something).
    Can you please tell me some brand names of some products to look for at
PetsMart and I will definitely give 'em a try.
    Bear is on meds because he has a very nasty allergy to fleas.  (It's
time to spray the yard again.)
So far with his monthly flea medicine he's not actually had them.
    As for the food:  Natural Choice Large Breed Puppy Food (Controlled
Growth Formula and Lamb Meal and Rice Formula).  They have glucosamine and
chondroitin sulfate in them and that's supposed to be really good for
puppies that are growing fast and going to get big (and quick he did). Like
calcium for a baby~good strong bones.  Sometimes I put a little cream of
chicken or chicken stock in it just to make it a little different.
    I have really enjoyed the input from other owners and hope you don't get
tired of me asking 101 questions.
