Re: [pyrnet] Re: Boarding puppers (sick pyr)

Barb,

I've thought about the risk to Badger and do plan to take in a specimen from
him. I just read some stuff on the internet about whip worms and you're
right, it sounds like Daisy (or Badger) could be reinfested very easily!!
Daisy has poohed all over the back yard and both of them like to dig. I
read that whip eggs can lay dormant in soil for years! Do you have any
suggestions for decontaminating the yard?

Also, this new vet started Daisy on Interceptor yesterday. I've been using
Heartgard. I'm going to switch Badger too.

I give the floors where the dogs lay in general a regular mopping with
bleach but sometimes I've used Lysol detergent after cleaning up pooh. Do
you think it works as well? Also, what do you think I could use on carpet
she's soiled? I cleaned it with a Hoover steam vac and Hoover carpet
cleaning solution. Help!!

Kim
