Not all dogs whose Blood Glucose fall below 40 will seizure.  I have a Pyr
and a Sam who are both diabetic.  Valjean has never had any hypo symptoms
whereas Tori would stumble around and bump into things (neither ever had
what I would call a seizure).

We ended up changing vets because our old vet had their insulin doses so
high that they were in constant hypos and he wasn't willing to listen to me
about it.  I was a nervous wreck because I worried that something would
happen to Valjean and I would never know he was low.  We haven't had one
hypo since switching.

Anyway, I just wanted to give our experience in case it aids someone.
