Linda, I've been lurking on the DogRead list on
Yahoo! groups. (used to be eGroups) This months book has been on clicker
training. Next month is dog photography. Each month the author of whichever
book is being read, joins the list and answers questions. AND, the archives are
an absolute treasure! so, have a go at www.groups.yahoo.com and do a search for
DogRead. I'm not "into" obedience myself, at least not as far as competing goes,
but these people's enthusiasm is highly contagious! AND someone is actually
training a deaf dog for UKC Utility! (deaf dogs are not eligible under AKC
rules) I have learned a tremendous amount!
