Re: [pyrnet] BARF diet

<<It's the veggies that get me. Seems I'm pretty much a carnivore myself!
<G> Although, my meat is cooked. Is there a list out there in BARFland for
people who are veggie challenged? <EG>>>Barb Bowes

Sorry Barb. That is one argument that you can't use as an excuse <VEG> If
you sat on any of the BARF lists for a while you would find that many long
time BARF feeders actually feed veggies rarely. I only do them about once
every 2 weeks and some do less. When I do them I just clear out the bottom
of my veggie crisper of anything that is not quite crisp anymore and throw
it in the blender. As I tend to buy a variety of whatever is in season for
myself, the dogs get a good variety of different veggies over time. One
blender full does the four dogs. wizz, pour, mix in a few things like eggs,
sardines or mined meat etc for added appeal, feed and pop the blender in the
dishwasher. Five minutes max and probably no more difficult that what you
are mixing up for a meal now. There is a list too. It is called
'basicbarf' and is at yahoogroups. A list for those who like a simpler plan
more along the lines of Dr Tom Lonsdales ideas. Nope Barb. That is one
excuse you cant use ;-).
