Great point, snow changes everything. We have actually had to move the fencing near the house (we had set it out 12' from the deck, because the snow from the roof makes a 15 to 25 foot snow back that eventually cover fence on that side of the pen

. So we were back to walking dogs at 4 am in the blowing snow and cold. Made DH walk them a couple of mornings and the fence became the first priority this fall.

Our fence is 6' high live stock wire with a 3 ft dig guard and the new addition facing the road is 6' plus stockade fencing. Maybe we will get a few less bark sessions (Yeah right....)
