Dear Lisa,
You have five kids and three dogs. Surely
you are traveling in a large vehicle or two cars. I am also assuming that
you have another driver with you. If this is the case, then you can take
turns outside of a fast food restaurant with the other driver. For
example, one of you can go in with the kids and the other stay outside with the
dogs. Bring water and food and some travel dishes with you. If you
do not have another driver, then all I can do is suggest you take food with you
and stop at rest areas for picnics instead of going to restaurants. That
way you can eat with the kids and let the dogs get some exercise. I can
not imagine getting rid of my dog because it is too hard to travel with
him. Hopefully, you will only have to do this one time and traveling
across country won't be a yearly event.
By the way, I have never written to pyrnet
before. I simply read the passages and enjoy the helpful
information. I am a first time pyr owner and my little guy hates the
car. Unfortunately, he has puppy training forty-five minutes away so he is
getting used to it. I wish you luck. I know you will need it.
:) Jodi
