That could be represented by the Suppressive fire rule. An automatic weapon
burns 10 rounds, and you pick a square. Hit that square (DC 10 + range
penalties) and everyone within 20 feet must make a DC 15 Willpower test or
lose their actions that turn. Roll a natural 1, take a bullet.

Maybe a DC 10 test for any fire coming at you?

Granted, just being PCs should help a lot, as you're the heroes, but I do
like modeling morale effects for them, too. And yes, that would be a good
feat...
