[pyrnet] Choke collar or Prong collar???

Good morning to all. I was wondering if I might be able to get some input
on ya'lls ideas, opinions and what not on choke collars vs. prong collars.

Which do you believe works better? What do you use (one of these or
something else)? Are you a trainer/breeder? Why do you feel the way that
you do?

I'm just an owner (with no intentions of backyard breeding~no flaming me
please) and after doing some research on the net I've purchased a prong
collar with tips. I used it on my thigh to see how evenly it distibutes the
pressure and it does work doing that. Since so many neck, back, trachea and
other injuries are a result of choke chains, the prong is what we use when
we go out in public with Bear.

Since he does very little pulling against me here at home I just use the
regular choke collar. I don't have to pull on it. Only sinch the chain a
little and Bear comes right on. It's also a lighter collar.

Thanks for the input.

Kind regards,

Bridget
