Re: [pyrnet] No Rinse Shampoo and an insider show grooming tip(was Zack -- throwing up)

No rinse shampoo is a wonderful thing! Yes, you can use it to
spot clean. Generally I spray it on, mixed with about 1/2 water.
(it goes farther this way) It dries quickly. Spray on, towel in,
Voila! relatively clean Pyr. When I was unable to bathe them
before a show, I would soak them with no rinse, cover them in
white chalk (powdered, bought from dog show suppliers by the 5
pound box) leave on overnight, then blow out with the dog dryer.
Gave wonderful harsh texture to the outer coat, turned them into
bright white dogs, but what a mess in the house! <G> I was
cleaning up white chalk for months! Thankfully, I only had to use
this method once or twice. BTW, no rinse should be available at
places like PetSmart and Petco. When I was showing, however, I
bought it by the gallon from the vendors at the show.
